One of our favorite things to do here is to jump on the bike and go cruising to the other side of the island. We love to go to Kailua. Not only is it gorgeous, it's full of collectors and shops jam packed with stuff that we love to just look at. It makes our old souls so happy to find a new crafty/ collectors boutique that we can browse and get ideas from. Kailua Square has the best breakfast, Cinnamons, an Antique store like 10 feet away that Brady got my record player from, (I'll dedicate a full post to it one day, I promise.) and four other antique shops in the same little strip. A few blocks down, there is a record store, a Salvation Army, and a bunch of little shops. It's basically our heaven. We forgot that our heaven is closed on Sunday's so we headed on down to the beach.
We dried off at this little beach bar across the street and then headed on back home.
My absolute favorite place I have seen here is the view coming out of the tunnel on H3 heading toward Kailua. Being right in the middle of the mountains and emerging through the tunnel surrounded by greenery, the ocean, the sun, even waterfalls, is breathtaking. Now imagine that on the back of the bike. I'm never able to take photos of it for the obvious reasons but we did stop at the Pali Highway lookout just down the way. Still the same view just a different angle and we aren't in motion. That's a win in my book.

Off into the sunset on the way home! Catch you later my loves,
