Sunset over Honolulu

Last spring when I came to visit Brady for the first time he took me to the most magical lookout point in Pu'u Ualaka'a State Park over Honolulu. I got the brilliant idea to close out our last evening of leave by revisiting this special spot of ours. When I look back on the photos from a year and a half ago I can't help but to think that we look like little babies. Is that weird to say? You can't really see in this two photos from last year. Boy was it breath taking.

We live in Ewa Beach so it's about an hour into town to the lookout. We threw in the ear buds, started the bike mix, jumped on, and there we were with a picnic dinner just in time for sunset. I swear the scent of natural Hawaii is pure heaven. It's a sweet floral/ earthy/ green scent. You get all of that? Smelling it yet? I'm saving all of these beautiful places deep in my memory. I cannot wait for our mainland visitors to come out to explore. The beauty here just blows you away. Brady appreciates the beauty but he's not really in awe of this island like I am. Maybe thats just a girl thing though. Specially since I'm a beachy girl at heart.

So come visit us! Come relax and enjoy all the beauty Hawaii has to offer. Book your ticket yet? Okay see you soon. Love and miss you guys!
