Wall Art

I have been crafting a lot of wall art around here. So much that we are running out of walls! Last week, I was pinning on my pinterest page and fell in love with DIY painting tutorial and decided to try it out. I changed it up a little to get my craft how I wanted it. For starters, I bought this little thing of plaster from Walmart instead of the molding paste in the tutorial. From there, I just winged it.

I applied the plaster with one of my painting tools as seen below.

I stayed in line between the three canvases so my lines would be even and the pictures would flow. Wait a good 24 hours before adding color.

I chose not to blend as well as the tutorial. I like my finished product. Once the color dried, I coated it with Modge Podge to give it that shiny look.

Remember all those pallets I have been telling you about? I had one out back and I had my craftsman honey help me build frames for these canvases. I didn't tale any pictures of the building process. Once he finished the frames, I added a pecan stain to them.

Once we did a walk through of the house, we discovered there was only one wall that we could hang them on. After I hung them like the picture above, I decided to switch it up a little and this is what I got.

How do you think it turned out? As always, mahalo for reading guys. Missing you tons! <3
