27 Catamaran

Aloha! My sweet love took me on a catamaran sunset cruise to celebrate my 27 years young. This man is absolutely incredible. We got to sway with the blue ocean, see whales, and drink free drinks while listening to island music. I won't spend anymore time explaining the 90 minute Mai tai cruise because the words never do the photos justice. It is truly paradise.

Sending you all of the aloha!

A Little of Our Week

These past few weeks have been crazy! It's a whirlwind of touristy attractions. I've driven our lovely friends all around the island and I'm proud to say that I've barely used any directions. Yay me! Anyway, here are a few shots of our adventures.

Labor Day Weekend & The Hawaiian Prince Hotel

Aloha dears, Happy Labor Day! We have had a weekend full of a R&R. Brady has had a tough & long past few weeks at work. We agreed that we owed it to ourselves to slip away this weekend and relax in the sunshine by the pool and hot tub. After working on Saturday, he kayaked home and we were off into town for our stay at The Hawaiian Prince Hotel. Our room was lovely but our view is what made our stay. I hope you had a great holiday weekend too! Enjoy the photos from our staycation. <3

Yardhouse Birthday Bash

Aloha!

We had the pleasure of adventuring into town for our room mate's birthday. We started our evening at one of my favorite spots, Yardhouse. I love Yardhouse back in VB but the one in Honolulu wins. The atmosphere outside is gorgeous. The beer as always, was delicious.

That One Time I Turned 25

When I set the moving date on my calendar for my move out to Oahu I had my big 25th Birthday in the back of my mind. I knew that there was a really great chance that I'd be sad about hitting my mid twenties. I argued that one could not be sad about turning 25 in Hawaii. I still stand by that statement because nothing about 25 is making me sad! Brady did such an amazing job dealing with my transition and planning the many birthday surprises.

On the eve of my birthday, I was instructed to set out jeans, my bathing suit, sneakers, and a jacket for the following morning. I was also told to pack a bag with my birthday dress, makeup, pj's, and anything else I would need on my birthday. Mr. Secretive woke me up in the wee hours of the morning to drive from our home in Ewa Beach out to Honolulu to watch the sun come up over the Makapu'u Trail Lighthouse.
We parked at the base of the mountain, grabbed our thermos full of yummy coffee and flashlights then started our trek up to the lighthouse to catch the sunrise. (Yeah he's THAT romantic!)
Please excuse the kissy picture and the crappy iPhone photos. The next few shots don't really need many words. Oahu's sky really is magical.

After our sunrise hike Brady drove us over to our hotel room at the Hawaiian Hilton Village. Let me tell you, the Hilton in Honolulu is the best, BEST hotel I have ever stayed at. Not only was it down in all the action in town, all of the fun stuff in the hotel kept us busy all day long without letting us crash from our early rise. We checked in our luggage and went out to breakfast and people watch. After breakfast we rented a paddle board and a raft to float and paddle around the Hilton's lagoon.  We enjoyed the fun day in the sun and retreated up to our room to get ready for dinner at Rumfire. I had the most amazing Mahi- Mahi tacos for dinner and a very tasty spread of birthday cake.

This by far, was my favorite birthday I have ever had. Man just imagine what 30 will look like! I am truly the luckiest girl in the world because I get to share my life with this amazing man. Love him!
As always, thanks for reading!
