Luau

Hey there! We went to our luau Friday and had a total blast! The food was catered and it was phenomenal. This awesome hawaiian guy came on stage to bless our food and our beach. We learned a lot about our area, how it got it's name, and stories of Ewa's history. A great little band came on stage and played authentic hawaiian music. We LOVE hawaiian music! Big ol' men playing ukulele's and lovely ladies singing their hearts out. We played with a few of the keiki ( hawaiian word for children) that were running around and giggling at us. Drank a few Reds Apple Ale, Brady's new favorite that I showed him. A pretty awesome time was had by all!

Awesome hawaiian blessing guy.

All our neighbors and their keiki watching the hula dancers.

Our community also has a canoe club called Kamahao Canoe Club. We are thinking about joining! Here's a photo of one of their outrigger canoes sending out a lei in the ocean for the beach blessing.

I love this man and our little island life!

As always, mahalo for reading!
