Aloha,
Guess what I did?
This time I managed to climb up all of those railroad ties in 29 minutes! My supportive guy never left my side and encouraged me each step towards our goal.
29 minutes made me feel fancy enough to balance my weight with my shaky legs on top of this structure.
I took a moment to send up some prayers on the prayer box for my grandpa.
Isn't that such a gorgeous place to send your prayers? All of that work to the top of the mountain, sweating your butt off, and you get to send your prayers above Honolulu.
Here is Brady and I half way down the mountain at the bridge. That bridge is so sketchy with jello legs mixed with the sharp decline.
I hope I never have to do this hike again. But hey, if I do, i'll kill it in 28 minutes.
Mahalo,
Erin
