Hi Ho Flossie and Snorkeling in Ko Olina

All is well on Oahu! We woke to rain both yesterday and today. Other than light rain and a little thunder, we are doing great. No flooding in our area, wind blown debris, or anything like that. The worst thing that I've noticed at our house was the rain puddles on our linoleum because I didn't shut the sliding glass doors when we went to bed last night. The sun is shining and the birds are chirping.

Throughout this week, I'll dedicate each fun event from our stay- cation with a blog post, so make sure you stay tuned.

I've been dying to go out and buy a snorkel kit so I can go whenever I want. Our first day of trying out the new gear was down in Ko Olina. Ko Olina is a big resort area in Kapolei just 20 minutes from us. It has 4 man made lagoons surrounded by the Marriott Resort, Aulani Disney Resort, Time shares, and a few others.

We found parking at the third lagoon although I've heard the fourth lagoon has the best fish! The water was a little cloudy as was the sky but we had fun. I didn't take any photos in the water but we took a few on the beach. Brady taught me how to dive down with all my gear on. How did I never know how to do that before is beyond me. Anyway, here's our snorkel day!

Probably the BEST book I've read in a while. I'm not even into the apocalyptic scenarios in books, shows, whatever but I really recommend this book.

He HATES when I take the candid photo. Something I'm praying he gets over! ;)

Thanks for reading, next post I'll write about our radio/ record player obsession.

Aloha, Erin
